Preston Taylor Maxwell

This letter comes from Elder Steve Aquino, pastor of Columbia Primitive Baptist Church:

Dear Brethren

Brother Preston, our deacon and treasurer at Columbia, has passed away. He leaves his dear wife, Sister Edith, and son David. He was staying at the Chesapeake Manor Assisted Living in Salisbury and on Sunday afternoon was unable to breathe, was taken to the hospital. He died on Monday in the early evening hours while Sister Julie Mann and Elder Elbert Robbins (Forrest Grove PB church) sang hymns.

We would like you to know that there will be a grave side service at the cemetery in Delta, PA. We are to meet at Harkins Funeral Home: http://harkinsfuneralhome.com/, at 1 PM FRIDAY , September 13, and then follow the procession to the cemetery. I am not sure where the cemetery is exactly but I understand it is connected with Emory Methodist Church. So if you plan to go I suggest meeting at the Funeral Home which is right on Main Street, Delta PA.

After grave side services there will be refreshments by the members of the Methodist church and Sister Edith Maxwell.

In lieu of flowers the family asks any memorial contributions be made to Columbia Primitive Baptist Church, 15900 Old Columbia Pike, Burtonsville, MD 20866

I will greatly miss brother Preston as I know you will as well. He was a faithful member and strong believer in the doctrines of grace. He was a studious deacon over the years, attending to various needs without recognition or compensation. It was a calling for him to serve the body of Christ in the office of deacon at Columbia. He will be greatly missed.

Sincerely.

Br Steve
